The 41mm brand new 50th Anniversary version Ref. 15510ST brings 5 dial color models in one go, with a new green dial style introduced. The green color scheme immediately reminds people of Audemars Piguet’s brand color scheme, which is very fresh and attractive!
The new Ref. 15510ST continues to retain the original design from 1972, but adds a lot of fine-tuning designs to the case, dial, and strap, mainly increasing the inclined surfaces above and below the case, so as to achieve a better overall proportion effect! On the other hand, the handmade satin polishing of the watch has also been enhanced, creating a stronger light and shadow effect that complements the glossy polishing.
The literal shape still has a unique square pattern, and the 24K gold three-dimensional “Audemars Piguet” logo at the 12 o’clock position is made using electroplating generation method (similar to 3D printing), replacing the previous three-dimensional “AP” logo and printed Audemars Piguet words.
On the exclusive 22K rose gold pendant of the movement, there will also be the words “50th Anniversary”. This pendant presents the 50th anniversary logo and Audemars Piguet logo carving through hollow out techniques, and is treated with a combination of satin polishing and glossy polishing, just like the case! And the watch further integrates the back cover into the case, making it comfortable to wear and more in line with the curvature of the wrist.
The strap has also been redesigned, with the first four links changing from a parallelogram to a trapezoid, and the strap width gradually decreasing, making the lines more streamlined and aesthetically pleasing. All links are also thinner, making them lighter to wear and handle!
